How RTT® Supports Lasting Change

RTT® (Rapid Transformational Therapy®) is a powerful hybrid of hypnotherapy, CBT, NLP, and psychotherapy. By working at the subconscious level, RTT helps us uncover and reframe emotional triggers that drive addictive behaviour. You also receive a hypnosis audio, which you’ll listen to daily for 3-4 weeks, reinforcing new, healthier beliefs.

We are honest: while RTT® is a powerful tool to support change, we don’t claim it’s a “cure”, our approach works as part of a fully integrated therapy programme, treating both the conscious and subconscious mind.

The Benefits of Our Integrated Approach

  • Root-cause healing, not just symptom and behavioural management.

  • Flexible delivery,  in-person sessions in Lymm or Alderley Edge, or remote via Zoom.

  • Aftercare support to help you sustain momentum even when the formal programme ends.

  • Confidential, compassionate care,  your privacy matters; you’ll be treated with understanding and respect.

So what do the people we've helped say about us .......

"Please if you are looking at this page wondering to make the step absolutely reach out. John does not judge - HE UNDERSTANDS, HE GETS IT! HE IS PROUD OF YOUR FIRST STEPS!! I was so scared I almost lost everything but those first steps are the biggest and the hardest. My hardest step was admitting the problem, John helped me find out the cause which was work and I made changes by getting a new job whilst addressing alcoholism. You also need to talk - don't keep a secret - my friends and family have all been so supportive!!   The new job led to even more positive things and I am now working for my life long loved Company. Dr Shyra led me down this path for sure - if you believe in yourself a positive journey not only will make you feel better than the old you but dreams really do come true!! Stop doubting yourself and reach out to John and Dr Shyra.  Please ask for my contact details if you want to chat - I know how hard it is but its so worth it - life is too short - Alcohol is the enemy - FAMILY is EVERYTHING". If you have any specific questions about any medical matters or if you think you may be suffering from any medical condition, you should consult your GP or other qualified healthcare provider. You should never delay seeking medical advice, disregard medical advice or discontinue medical treatment because of information on this website. Results cannot be guaranteed, moreover, results from individual testimonials are for reference only and your own personal experience may differ to those shown on this site, as outcomes are influenced by many factors outside of Cheshire Sobriety Clinic's control. If you have a physical dependency on alcohol, it is medically important not to suddenly stop drinking as this can cause acute alcohol withdrawal, delirium tremens, seizure and death. This programme is designed for individuals who are psychologically stable and not currently experiencing physical dependence requiring medical detox. The service is not a substitute for medical treatment, and we recommend consulting a healthcare professional before beginning any new treatment approach. Through the process of kindling, multiple detox's from alcohol and benzodiazepines can become significantly more difficult and dangerous. Medical attention should be sought at the earliest opportunity and you should attend Accident & Emergency following a medical event. RTT® is not a regulated medical procedure in the UK. We do not provide crisis care or medically managed or monitored detox. If you are in immediate risk or in crisis, please attend A&E, contact your GP or NHS 111.
