Our Ethos, Values and how we do things

Providing a quality, safe and ethically robust service takes priority over any financial growth objectives. Our professional credibility is essential to our long-term existence and we strive to provide the highest quality of service and care.

Before we enter into a treatment delivery phase, we will assess somebody's suitability for the services we offer. If there is a clear clinical rationale that somebody's needs are best met outside of Cheshire Sobriety Clinic, we will communicate this and the clinical decision making. We currently don't provide medically managed community detoxification, but we are able to advise on how to access this if required. Alternative treatment options will be suggested and advise will be provided, which will not be chargeable.

At Cheshire Sobriety Clinic, we are dedicated to providing compassionate and effective care for individuals struggling with problematic alcohol and drug use. Our core values and ethos guide our mission to empower our clients to achieve lasting recovery and wellness.

Ethos

Our treatment clinic is founded on the fundamental belief that everyone can recover from alcohol or drug dependence and lead a fulfilling life free of substance use. We create a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore and resolve the underlying cause of their addiction, learn healthy coping strategies, and build the knowledge and skills to maintain long-term sobriety in a psychologically comfortable way.

Through evidenced-based therapies and a treatment response which adapts to your treatment progress, we provide ongoing support and assistance so our clients can heal physically, mentally and emotionally, reconnecting with their sense of purpose and hope for the future.

At Cheshire Sobriety Clinic, we stand by our commitment to excel in delivering excellence and helping our clients achieve the long-term recovery goals that they have found illusive. It is a privilege to be part of your journey to support and guide you on your way to a happier, peaceful, and enriched life, which is free from the confines of alcohol and drug dependency.

This site of course won't address all of your questions. We would therefore encourage you to make the leap, get in touch and book a free consultation, we'd be pleased to hear from you.

Our core values:

* Compassion

We approach each individual with empathy, respect and understanding, recognising that addiction is a complex and multifaceted problem which steals people’s quality of life. The response to overcome requires a bespoke, personalised and compassionate care and support, where you will be heard, understood and guided to a safe and secure place.

* Empowerment

We belive in empowering our clients to take control of their recovery journey and help people to define what that should look like for them. We provide the tools, skills, accountability and understanding to progress through the change process.

* Integrity

We uphold the highest ethical standards in all aspects of our work and conduct, ensuring transparency, honesty and accountability in our interactions with clients, families and stakeholders. We are registered with Addiction Professionals, the sectors regulatory body and are accountable under their Standards of Conduct and Ethics policy.

* Collaboration

We foster a collaborative approach to treatment, working closely with clients, families (where appropriate) and other healthcare professionals to develop holistic and comprehensive care. We encourage collaborating with significant others in order to develop their important role in your sustained and long-term recovery.

* Innovation

We are committed at staying at the forefront of addiction treatment and are leading the way with re-writing what is possible in addiction recovery. The treatment programme we have developed, incorporating Rapid Transformational Therapy® is unique in the treatment sector, by treating the emotional cause of these difficulties rather than just focusing on the problematic behaviour.

You must not rely on information on Cheshire Sobriety Clinic's website as an alternative to medical advice from your doctor or other professional healthcare provider. If you have any specific questions about any medical matters or if you think you may be suffering from any medical condition, you should consult your GP or other qualified healthcare provider. You should never delay seeking medical advice, disregard medical advice or discontinue medical treatment because of information on this website. Results cannot be guaranteed, moreover, results from individual testimonials are for reference only and your own personal experience may differ to those shown on this site, as outcomes are influenced by many factors outside of Cheshire Sobriety Clinic's control. If you have a physical dependency on alcohol, it is medically important not to suddenly stop drinking as this can cause acute alcohol withdrawal, delirium tremens, seizure and death. Through the process of kindling, multiple detox's from alcohol and benzodiazepines can become significantly more difficult and dangerous. Medical attention should be sought at the earliest opportunity and you should attend Accident & Emergency following a medical event.
