Lets talk money

As a specialist private healthcare provider it is pertinent to talk about money. At Cheshire Sobriety Clinic we believe in transparent pricing of our services so you can make an informed decision about our suitability to provide effective help, to change your long-term relationship with alcohol and other drugs. The treatment package we've put together consists of x10 1 hour sessions with John Wilkinson and x2 2 hour RTT ® sessions with Dr Shyra Raj, which resolves the underlying emotional cause. This significantly speeds up the time it takes to achieve your recovery goals. We use the first RTT ® session to change your relationship with alcohol and other drugs and then use the second session to target the psychological/emotional cause. For example, by resolving feeling anxious in social situations or distress caused by difficult experiences or circumstances.

Both our alcohol and drug programmes require an investment of £2500. We believe this represents good value. Why? Because we are highly skilled, trained, experienced and effective at what we do. Alternative treatment options such as residential rehabilitation command fees of around £20k-£25k for a four week stay. This is problematic not just because of the level of investment required but also because of the high relapse rates observed following a return back into the same unchanged environment. Of course organisations such as AA/NA/CA offer a free but very prescriptive way of doing things. Holding the position that people are powerless against their addiction and have to submit themselves to a "higher power" and completing the 12 steps. Whilst this methodology works for some it is certainly not an option for everyone. Conversely, whilst you're with us, you'll be applying what you learn in real-time and assimilating this into your life, whilst simultaneously fulfilling your responsibilities. You will take control of your relationship with alcohol or drugs and learn how to successfully self-manage, without being dependent on others to maintain your treatment goals.

If you have a physical dependency on alcohol, it is medically important not to suddenly stop drinking as this can cause acute alcohol withdrawal, delirium tremens, seizure and death. Through the process of kindling, multiple detox's from alcohol and benzodiazepines can become significantly more difficult and dangerous. Medical attention should be sought at the earliest opportunity and you should attend Accident & Emergency following a medical event.
